A little about Jillian…

Jillian Lee Garner was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, and grew up doing anything and everything her parents could force her to do to keep her out of the house. She played every sport from swimming, to soccer, to softball and volleyball. She danced, was a cheerleader, and did every extra curricular activity, but the one that stuck was theatre.

After discovering and pursuing her love for acting, she apprenticed under the late esteemed director and acting coach, Jeanie Hackett, and was accepted into the BFA Acting program at the University of Michigan. There she continued performing in plays, short films, studied comedy, stage combat, clowning, and much more. During her summers, she interned and assisted directed at Los Angeles’ premiere theatre venue, The Geffen Playhouse in , apprenticed at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, and studied Shakespeare at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2020 with a minor in Performing Arts Management, before moving back home to Los Angeles.

True to her California roots, Jillian enjoys hiking, long road trips, camping, and taking her dog, Dallas, to the beach. She can quote every episode of the Office and South Park, and her other favorite shows include Succession, White Lotus, and Veep. She is a music-lover, book-lover, and film-lover, and her comfort film is the Addams Family Values.
